Remember this one?

Then you could transform a casual get-up to a chic one.

The fabric is soft and light that it could work well with your office attire.

I am really being appreciative of my bestfriend’s gorgeous body now. That when i saw her in her clad office outfit i was really speechless.
I envy that my crocheted stuffs suit her better than they do on me. So fine. Give this away.
Hopefully I could attain such body. Lean and sexy.

Sometimes when i crochet. I just crochet as I go. Meaning, I do not intend to do anything at all. I just want to crochet.

What’s to emphasize when there’s nothing at all?

Ahh.. when I have so many things I still have to do and the deadline is just around the corner, I cannot survive without a cup of coffee..

Crocheting over a cup of coffee
And a crochet hook to make me happy.

This crocheted blouse is a mixture of textures – soft, hard and rough.
This project is somehow memorable since this is the first time I heard about pineapple stitch. That’s why i named it PiÑa Collada.
I played with the idea of including fabric into crocheted and it turned out good. I made it for my bestfriend.

PiÑa Collada
I used a native fabric from Ilocos. The fabric is actually handwoven.
And to make it more casual, i crocheted a bolero to go with it:

Most of the time, I love dressing her up

She is one of my beneficiaries of my crocheted anything.
And I think she always loves them:

Pink @ work
This pink crocheted top is made from two strands of monaco crochet thread.
Take a closer look at the motifs used for the blouse:
Closer Look
This blouse used to be one of my favorites. I just have to wear it on top of a spaghetti strap and i’m off to go.
It’s actually the second blouse I was able to make during my first sem at graduate school
. I used 2 balls of ecru, 1 ball of pink, 1 ball of dark pink and 1 ball of variegated monaco yarns
—
I also wear them when i go out with my friends
Me and My Barkada
They are durable enough to withstand multiple washings (in washing machine, mind you.)
Sometimes it’s fun to have all your girl friends wear your creations. and know that they actually like them
Beauties and the Beast
And so that at the end of the day. You always have fun even after sore fingers.

Little Red Riding Hood Bolero
This is a short-sleeved hooded bolero in deep red cotton yarn accented with mohair yarn around the borders of the hood.
Stitches are the same as what is used in the winter solace bolero.

Blinky is an imaginary characted created by 5-year old Jas.
His father Ryan Sandagon turned the imagination into an animation.
His father’s Org Buddy turned the imagination into a crochet project.

NOTE: If you want to order a blouse of the same kind, kindly leave a comment below
Materials:
I bought the metal links, bars, and wires at Quiapo. The metal bars costs around 20Php/pack (contains 10), the links and wires are around the same price.
The buttons I used came from stashed buttons given to me by a local wholesale store of threads and other tailoring needs. (I’ll post a blog later)
Choose Buttons with this kind of back:

Buttons used
The purpose of this is the button will serve as the lock of the band.
The yarn’s frm Rosario Pasig. It was given to me free by the manong. Because I bought two kilos of yarns from him.
All in all, the materials came cheap. It took me less than 30 minutes to create this accessory.
Instructions:

Make a knot

Tighten the knot
Make a knot around one metal bar. And tighten it.This will serve as your first sc.
Make 8 sc around the chain like this:

First row of single crochet
Turn around. Chain 3 (serve as 1 dc). 8 DC into each next sc.

Second row of 9 dc
Create 9 rows with 9 DC.
Cut the yarn with a scissor, We will have to sew the yarn into the second metal bar with a needle.

Sewing the other end

The crocheted wrist band
Attach 3 metal links on each side of the metal bars. Then connect the 3rd links from both sides with the loop of the our wire.

Putting the links and improvised hook
